The rarest and most expensive Militia troops, Adepts are lesser Magi trained for battle, who engage the enemy with destructive spells. Most Adepts lack the extensive training, discipline, and talent of a true Mage, and their repertoire of arcane spells is limited in scope. Adepts are also not as well trained or as mighty as Guards, and tend to fall quickly if engaged directly in battle. Like Archers, Adepts work best when acting in concert with a force of Guards or other defenders, unleashing a continuous barrage of spells while tougher soldiers restrain the enemy by fighting them blade to blade.
